With the idea to encourage and enable creativity, it was intentionally planned to locate the Knowledge Centre away from the operational hub of SCL’s manufacturing facilities in Punjab.
Over the next few years, this Centre will create a pipeline of products for CDMO/CRO clients, focusing on niche API segments and developing specialty and performance chemicals which will find use in cutting-edge applications in several industries. One of the key verticals at the SCL Knowledge Centre will be focused on the development of a portfolio of ingredients/components for new applications in the vaccine industry.
To be located in Hyderabad, the Centre will be the source of all IP generation for SCL and will feed the pipelines of the verticals planned by SCL.
